We’re in! We closed on our home on Friday! Today started some of the work… putting in a new (free) stove thats a lot nicer then the one left in the home. My father-in-law and I also started pulling down some of the horrific wall paper in the back room. It was very theraputic! Anyway we’re hoping to really dig in this week and get some stuff done!

So to be honest… at 7am this morning I really didn’t want to get out of bed. But I pulled myself out and woke up… starting with my 20 minute treadmill walk. I take that time to pray… especially for my small group because I hate saying I’m going to pray for people and then never getting around to it so I take that time in the morning to pray for them and other things that come to mind.

So then I get to work. I figured it’d be just an ordinary day of answering phones, putting together contracts and following up on people that need to get contracts back to us at the shop… but no! I arrived and there was a little card at my computer. I was trying to figure out who it might be from and so after I did some things around the shop I opened it. There was a gift card for Olive Garden and a note from my boss thanking me for all of my hard work the past couple of weeks and saying that Sarah Decker I could go to lunch at noon and then take the rest of the day off! How great is that!! Now granted tomorrow we’ll be hit with a HUGE credit card run for all of the 400 some rentals we did in the past couple of weeks… but that’s ok! I got 5 hours of free time this afternoon which is how this post is making its way to you!

So I’m relaxing… probably not for long because it’s Wednesday and we’ll be getting ready for Midweek tonight. But that’s fine… it’s fun stuff!
